Joint course Modern methods of corporate governance for top managers

On the 24nd of October, 2017, CGC in partnership with the European School of Management and Technology (Germany) will conduct the sixth round of joint courses on the topic of “Modern methods of corporate governance for top managers”.

The European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) was founded in October 2002 by the initiative of 25 leading German companies, including Daimler, BMW, MAN, Lufthansa, Bosch, SAP, Bayer and others. Today, ESMT is one of the best business schools not only in Germany (#1 according to the Financial Times Ranking), but also in the world and its business programs are accredited by three independent agencies (AMBA, EFMD, AACSB).

The cooperation between CGC and ESMT has started in 2015. Over the past period, 5 rounds of joint training courses were conducted, in which more than 500 top managers participated, including the heads of joint-stock companies, commercial banks, economic management bodies and entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan.

Each round of joint courses consists of two stages. The first stage is organized at CGC in Tashkent (10 days). Within the framework of this stage, the students will get acquainted with modern methods of corporate management and governance, the basics of financial management and managerial accounting, the features of strategy development, change management and so on. Seminars and lectures of the course are conducted by the leading Professors of CGC, ESMT, specialists from ministries and other institutions of Uzbekistan.

48 participants that show the best results in the first stage will get a chance to attend the second stage, which is organized in Germany.

Within the second stage, lectures and seminars will be conducted at ESMT and will be combined with visits of the participants to leading companies in Germany (Volkswagen, Commerzbank, McKinsey, SAP, T-Labs, Berlin Chemie, etc.)

 All people interested in the implementation of modern principles and methods of corporate governance within their companies are welcome to register for the course.
